OPEN led the preparation of a masterplan and associated architectural concept designs for entirely new visitor facilities for Glenshee Ski Centre. The centre is the largest ski destination in Scotland with currently an impressive 22 lifts and 36 runs providing 40km of pisted runs over an entire area of almost 800ha.

OPEN worked with the directors to create an innovative and sustainable vision for Glenshee that encapsulates the very essence of this unique landscape and special part of Scotland. This involved several workshops sessions and concept designs were produced for entirely new visitor facilities including restaurant, shop, bunk house and bothy accommodation and scenic route structures.
